This is Hog Saddle's latest model HOG Saddle with some improvements from the original design. The MOD7 is currently a standard issue item in the US Marine Corps and other various Special Operations Units.

 

List of improvements:

1.  Opens 1/4" wider than the original model.   (2 11/16" Open, 1 1/2" Closed)
2.  Incorporates a retention button screw to prevent unintentional disassembly in the field
3.  Weighs 15.8 ounces
4.  Added cut-outs to the base of the HOG Saddle. These narrow slots better integrate with tripod heads or QR plates that have anti-rotation video pins.

• Lightweight aluminum body, four-section 28mm carbon fiber legs with adjustable cam levers (8 layers of carbon fiber).
• The short center column allows the shooter to get all the way down to an 8” prone position.
• A removable, load-bearing hook has been added to the bottom of the center column to hang weight, such as a backpack. The added weight will greatly increase tripod stability.

GNN XB-44DL

Low-Profile Ball Head with Duo-lever Clamp

The new GNN XB-44DL is the perfect balance between weight, load capacity, and super low-profile height. These ball head specs are unmatched. The GNN XB-44DL is ideal for weight-conscious individuals who still require a full-featured ball head. We made the XB-44 even shorter by machining off the neck of the ball head (creating the proprietary GNN series). This reduces damaging stress/leverage to internal parts, increases stability, yet still allows for 23° of elevation adjustment, with approximately 48° of total vertical travel. Our GNN XB-44DL Low-Profile Ball Head with Duo-Lever Clamp is based on the original XB-44, and we replaced the Screw-Knob Clamp with DLC-50 Screw/Lever Combo Clamp. The screw knob side now provides initial adjustment of the width of the clamp, while the lever side allows the user to quickly lock or unlock the clamp. The XB-44DL Low Profile Ball Head is the smaller of two ball heads in the XB line of low profile ball heads. It features a very low center of gravity, a very high load capacity of 88 lbs, and an improved ball head design for smoother movements when changing position.
